Kitsuma is a strong, gravity-first shock that allows you to go faster thanks to a more personalized tune. With the increased ground-tracking ability of a coil spring and the most oil volume of our entire shock family, it offers amazing downhill performance and maximum possible grip.
With oversized dials that are easy to adjust by hand, we’ve taken the hesitation away from experimenting with your shock settings. On-trail adjustments are now more intuitive and easier to visualize so you can get back to ripping and spend less time counting ‘clicks.’
High-speed Compression – For the big hits
Low-speed Compression – For pedal platform
High-speed Rebound – For stability
Low-speed Rebound – For sensitivity
Go Faster by Mastering Them All
DB Kitsuma is highly tunable and simplifies the tuning process by eliminating the need for tools. Low-speed compression and rebound circuits are controlled within a single rotation, while high-speed circuits are controlled within two rotations.
On-trail adjustments have never been quicker and more intuitive thanks to DB Kitsuma’s clearly indicated and easy to use adjusters.
FIRM | SOFT = HIGH SPEED COMPRESSION
SLOW | FAST = HIGH SPEED REBOUND
FIRM | SOFT = LOW SPEED COMPRESSION
SLOW | FAST = LOW SPEED REBOUND
DESCEND. CLIMB. FIRM. – The 3-position Climb Switch makes Kitsuma ready for every situation with the turn of a switch – including an all new “Firm” mode that’s so solid, you may forget you’re on your long travel bike.
1. Fully open for flat-out, rowdy descending
2. Our patented “CS” mode which provides a stable platform to maximize pedal efficiency and traction when climbing over technical terrain
3. Ultra-firm mode for pedaling over long stretches of pavement or gravel on your way to the trail

Like all Cane Creek Suspension, Kitsuma was designed, developed and hand-built by riders here in Western North Carolina. Informed by the endless climbs and technical descents of the Pisgah National Forest, this shock was developed completely in-house and rigorously tested in our internal test lab and on some of North America’s most legendary trails.

The performance of your coil shock is directly related to the quality of your spring. VALT springs offer a significant weight reduction over standard steel springs.
Progressive-Rate VALT springs maintain the sensitivity and “set it and forget it” mentality of a traditional coil set up, but with the progressiveness and ramp up that hard-charging riders demand. Progression begins at 50% into the stroke of the spring.

Our legendary twin tube damper design moves much more oil through externally adjustable valving instead of forcing it through shims on the main piston. This circulating oil flow allows for superior tunability and eliminates the need for internal valving changes to achieve your optimal shock tune.
