The Slamset is a premium headset created for riders seeking to lower their handlebars further than the standard stack height without compromising bearing seal and proper preload. With the HELLBENDER bearing included, the Slamset excels at durability and longevity when it comes to steering performance.
SlamSet is available at select retailers
Featuring 7075 T-6 Aluminum cups and covers, our premium Hellbender bearing, and some of the lowest stack height bearing cover options available, the SlamSet is the premium headset for riders looking to lower their handlebars without compromising performance.
The Hellbender bearings are built to live in the most extreme conditions, keeping you riding smoothly through rain, mud, grit or whatever the road and trail throws at you. Using Stainless Steel bearings and advanced sealing elements.
A machined aluminum and anodized preloader bolt, and our premium hybrid steel and aluminum star nut make up the proprietary low-stack SlamSet preload system.
In 1992, we brought the Aheadset®, the original threadless headset, to market – kicking off a major change in the way bicycle frames and forks would be developed going forward.
The original design of that revolutionary headset is still found in almost all bikes on the market today.
