When you are installing headset cups into your bicycle frame or a crown race onto your fork, there is only one way to get the job done right. Use an appropriately-sized Cane Creek installation tool, or risk damaging your frame and/or fork. The headset cup installation tools are designed to be used with a headset press, sold separately.

What tool(s) will I need to install a EC 34/28.6 34/30 MITCH asked on February 27, 2024

Hello, part # HST014 would be used to install the EC34 Cups and part # HST004 would be used to install the 30mm crown race. You would also need a headset press tool, and crown race installation tool to press the cups into the headset as well as install the crown race. We do not offer these products, however, parktool makes some great ones.

Hello, we do not offer a EC44/33 Cup Installation tool. We would recommend a 33mm crown race tool- 1 1/4th in. We currently do not offer this size, however, Park Tool does.
