REMARKABLY POWERFUL

POWERFULLY LIGHT

The eeBrake is the ultimate brake from start to finish – a uniquely robust patented design developed and refined by relentless engineering, both at the computer and through real-life testing. At half the weight than that of its competitors, eeBrakes continue to set new standards by which all other high performance road brakes are judged. The same supreme upgrade for performance-oriented riders, a dramatically higher overall stiffness provides better modulation and more power. No detail has been overlooked, greater tire clearance and tool-less pad centering makes installation simple.

PERFECT CABLE ALIGNMENT

The titanium eeBrake cable adjuster pivots as the brake is applied, optimizing cable alignment during brake actuation. Also, the cable housing extends to lower tip of the cable adjustment screw eliminating added friction. That means, as the brake lever is squeezed, you get even and friction-free braking power.

eeBrake cable adjuster

AERODYNAMIC

Cross Cable Path aligns the brake cable over the center of the brake. This alignment provides a graceful, clean line and moves cables into the “wind shadow” of the frame, providing an aerodynamic advantage over traditional brakes with their cables and lever arms off to one side of the caliper.

LIMITED EDITION

Cane Creek has released two limited edition eeBrakes per year since 2017, each limited to a small quantity. The brakes have become a favorite for custom builders and enthusiasts looking to add character, and stopping power to their bikes. The striking colors and the limited number of brakes produced have made them highly sought-after products over the past several years.

what about the spring on front of the brake? I saw an offer on ebay with a coiled spring on the back side bit without the spring on the front. Was there a version produced on that way? Thomas asked on May 15, 2024

Hello, generation 3 and prior direct mount eebrakes use a coil spring.

What is the maximum recommended tire size for the ee brakes? Hoping to run 32mm on 20mm id rim. Max Reichwage asked on February 21, 2024

Hello, G4 eeBrakes can fit up to a 31mm wide tire - G3 versions can fit up to a 28mm tire.
*Please note this measurement is in mm. Some tires will measure to be a different size when inflated. for example a 700x30c tire may actually measure out to be +/- 2mm.

What can I do to eliminate (or reduce) screeching with my direct mount EE brakes? I use a Bianchi Oltre XR4 with Campagnolo Bora Ultra 50 wheels and Campagnolo Carbon Pads (red). Toeing in the pads only has a temporary effect - I would have to repeat this before every ride to get a satisfactory result, which is really not practical and would result in very poor pad wear characteristics. The performance of the Brakes is great but the noise is unbearable! Thanks. Neville Jackson asked on October 29, 2023

We will need to ask several questions to source the issue with your eeBrakes. Please email Support@canecreek.com and we can help.

Ben Rea answered on October 31, 2023 store manager

I have Campy Bora wto carbon rims and have had really good luck with reversing the toe-in at the rear, ie toe-out .
It works for me and I got the idea from a mechanic who had tried very thing , then this worked for him . I do need to reset the reverse toe-in every couple of months .
